West Ada Parents and Partners Against Winder's Bill

This bill is control of the worst sort

I live in zone 2, and am completely disgusted with the arrogance displayed by Mr. Vuittonet towards constituents an fellow board members. Resign, sir -- you most definitely don't represent me.

Shame on our local government officials for using such dirty tactics to get what they want! Think about our children and the future of IDAHO and stop being so greedy!

Public records as far back as to before the May 2015 election (see West Ada Files site, obtained from parents' FOIA requests) show that the two newly elected trustees, and the two seated trustees, were doomed. These FOUR either were to join Mike Vuittonet (who was voted out of the Chair in July, which embarrassed him) in his continued ways, or face certain misery, That is what this is all about. Documents prove it.

I voted for and support the current West Ada School board and do not think Christine ODonnell and Reid Olsen have shown that the board has done anything wrong. Stop the recall.

I want local control, not Winder control!

Chuck Winder only represents himself and his own special interests. He does not return phone calls and he abuses his legislative powers to the fullest extent possible under the law.

The four new members of the school board were voted in over the last three years for a reason. The people have spoken. Senator Winder should not have the ability to take away our voice, because he doesn't like what he hears.

Local control of our public schools must never be compromised or relinquished!

Local Control! Interesting how this political party criticizes the over reach of the federal government, yet they constantly use worse types of tactics to restrict the people of this state. "Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth."

NO on S 1273 Senator Winder needs investigating. He does not respect the power of the people's vote, which makes him not a fit leader in a true democracy.

Has anyone found out who the contractor and developer were that contributed the lions share of the money used for the recall? I sure would like their names and if they have done business with the school district.

The worst line in that bill is that they can't pick someone "like minded". What? We voted in someone of that mindset but they must be replaced by a mindset we wouldn't have voted for? Basically he doesn't like that the voters could put in someone he doesn't want in so this gives him the power to change it. Insane. It is directly contradictory to how voting is supposed to work.

A recall that is not in the best interest of the people, but instead bolsters a private agenda is in direct opposition to a freedom based quality education. Citizens keep the power of quality education in your hands. Stand against this recall.

Everyone should be subject to the rule of law. Politicians should not be given special privileges or have their illegal actions ignored.

It's time to stand up to the political bullies that have been reelected way too many times by an apathetic public. Local control of School Boards is important and you can bet that there is more to this recall then meets the eye. It doesn't pass the smell test.

Mr. Olsen lost his seat for a reason. Please stop the recall and let the board take care of business.

Recall need to stop. The district/trustees have made positive improvements for our community.

Our vote given away to another legislative body to decide? No to Winder's sapping our voting rights.

Never, ever should we take the rights away from people and give it to the government. Never.
