I am on the football team as well as the executive board for Wesleyan’s American Marketing Association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I believe I would be a great senator because I have insight into various underrepresented Wesleyan demographics and can, therefore, provide a wider perspective for senate. Furthermore, the strong sense of empathy I have gained over the years will enable me to effectively represent the wide variety of demographics outside my own. I strongly believe in advocacy and I am ambitious to become more involved on our campus. I believe that the Illinois Wesleyan experience has potential for improvement and I aim to help accomplish this for current and future students.
