What use is a Women's Equality Party that doesn't believe Women exist and have rights

Finding myself increasingly politically homeless... it isn’t bigoted for a rape victim to care about safe spaces for women

I would like to vote for the WEP. Their support for GRA is stopping me.

Protecting single sex spaces is vital as a Muslim woman.

I completely agree with and support the sex based rights of women, and their right to have single sexed spaces. I support the acknowledgement of the lived experience of women, natal women as distinct and seperate from that of men and transgender individuals ,who need that clarity in order to access appropriate health and social care.
Drawing distinctions between sex based rights acknowledges our lived experience which is unique to women. And it needs saying that standing up in objection to misogony in all public fields is not the same as transphobia.
Women are being overruled, overwritten and phased out of jobs created to expand the employment, political and social platforms of adult human females.
Giving these positions to transwomen is not the answer.

Self ID without medical supervision is a ridiculous idea and it WILL be abused by predatory males!

Women are a sex class. We have been discriminated against on the basis of sex for 1000s of years. We need rights on the basis of sex.

I am very glad to see that this group has been formed. As a member of WEP from the early days, I have been dismayed at their support for transactivist ideology (as opposed to support for the rights of transpeople).

Women's rights are sex based rights. We cannot turn into a world where female is automatically deemed transphobic. We should never be afraid of bullies dealing in death and rape threats, no matter their gender.

I am sure transgender people would recognise that there are times when they need a space which is private to them for them to share and discuss their specific experiences of oppression, there must be trans groups which meet for this purpose and biological women or men would not be welcome, therefore it follows that biological women also have the need for private and safe spaces which exclude others. The silencing of dialogue and discussion and the labelling of anyone who speaks out as being involved in hate speak should be challenged. I do not pretend I can imagine what it is like to be transgender, why am I told identifying specific experiences of oppression and discrimination because of my biological sex makes me transphobic and hateful?
