I have personally respected Arsene Wenger despite the very clear signs that the on-field set-up is not quite working. A clear trend of failure and defensive indiscipline is very well established despite big amounts of money spent on defensive reinforcements in the summer. I am convinced beyond any doubt that the problem at Arsenal is not the quality of players. We have a very good squad but we need a manager who is very strong in his values about defensive discipline and who does not regard finishing top4 as a trophy. There is no pride for me as a fan qualifying for the Champions League every year and being embarrassed each time by Barcelona and Bayern Munich. This year it was 10-2. It was not the fact that we lost, it was the manner in which we did. This isn't about just one season. It has been a number of years of the same things happening at exactly the same points of the season. I, like many Arsenal fans, have been very patient and hoping somehow we will ride out this storm. It is in the best interests of everyone concerned that we give Arsene the best send-off possible and with all respect he has done nothing to deserve an extension. I say that with all the respect possible. We need to accept that Arsene has taken us as far as he can. We need to accept that Arsenal Football Club can be great again if we do the right thing and change the technical direction of this club. Change starts with Arsene admitting that it's the end of an era. With all respect. Thank you.

Wenger has done fantastic things for this club but unfortunately he has now lost his way. It's been 13 seasons with a premier league trophy and we are turning into a club like Liverpool i.e. talking about our past not challenging at the present. This is why we need fresh ideas and a fresh manager.
