I think most gunner fans would agree with me that is is time for Arsene Wenger to step down as manager of Arsenal. He is too stubborn to spend the money that he thinks is his. The transfer window was an embarrassment. His excuse was he couldn't find the right player to improve the squad.How come EVERY other team found the players they needed? This is his excuse almost every summer. Arsenal fans are sick of the excuses. It is time for a change. Don't get me wrong, Wenger has done a brilliant job especially during the building of the Emirates stadium. The time has come to start building a real contender. Most players don't want to come to Arsenal because it always ends in failure. The team (Wenger and Gadzis) do not match the ambition that the players do. Wenger is perfectly happy finishing fourth and exiting the UCL at the round of 16. As long as they qualify for the UCL each year they think that is just as good. The supporters want more. It's not like Arsenal doesn't have the money. Yes I know, we don't want to spend the money just to spend but look at some of the transfers Wenger has made over the years to improve the squad. Squilacci, Silvestre, Bischoff, Inamoto, Luzhny, Jeffers, Santos, and Arshavin to name just a few. Another thing is why do Arsenal have one of the smallest squads of the UCL teams. It's time to get rid of the waste as well. Starting with the always injured Wilshere, and then Mertesacker, Flamini, and then Arteta.
