Philadelphia is our preferred location to see concerts and the Wells Fargo Center is a nice venue HOWEVER every time I try to purchase tickets through them, I experience one problem after another. The most concerning is being in their website queue when tickets go on sale then after waiting and waiting and waiting, receiving a message that no tickets are available. Problem doesn't seem to be that tickets were sold out while you were waiting but that there were barely any tickets available to the public. Even with presale codes, only 200 level tickets were available. I have experienced this several times in the past but the most 2 recent purchases (or attempts to purchase) were when I realized how wrong we (the general public) were being treated. We have terrible seats for the upcoming Justin Bieber concert and were not able to secure any seats for the next Pink concert. THE CONCERN IS THAT THOUSANDS OF TICKETS WERE ON STUBHUB JUST A DAY OR TWO AFTER THE FIRST PRESALE CODE WAS RELEASED. TOO MANY COMPANIES OR PEOPLE ARE GETTING TICKETS BEFORE THE COMMUNITY HAS A CHANCE TO PURCHASE THEM! I have come to the realization that I should have spent my time trying to get tickets at another local venue like Newark or even New York. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has not given their business to Philly because of this unfair practice.
