Very few MCCSD rate payers know of this "special meeting" , it seems sneaky and covert to call a non-emergency meeting during this pandemic , the board needs to rethink the timing of the bogus and made-up sense of urgency for this internet meeting planned for the 16th.

This "special meeting" should be postponed for at least 60 days until the rate payers of MCCSD can be notified by mail , and attend an actual meeting to voice our views on this critical issue of water control from private property.

Please postpone this meeting until all people in the district are notified by mail so the meeting can be more effective and transparent.

I am against the imposition of metering at this particularly difficult time. I would like to attend a meeting in person when it is safe for all of us.

You buy the land you bought the rights. Pretty simple. Are you gonna pay to drill the well? The risk of not hitting water. Pay people for the well they already drilled. And for years past. Well water is a gamble. They invested time and money. Already paid years of water$$$ payments, essentially on drilling and pumps etc.... Can you put a value on a well that may dry up? More wells drilled less water. Seems like a cluster, or a clever way to scam more money! Or is this a way to offer alternative means of getting water to the people? And this is the charge for the risks?hahaha even better are you going to start metering the sun. Haha in order to go outside you gotta pay for the light? Hahaha what a joke!

At the very least MCCSD should be able to quantify the effectiveness of this program. This has not been demonstrated as being effective in any clear or factual way by MCCSD.

The two previous votes on this matter clearly were legal. All of us that witnessed the vote believed further study and the Board could not vote again on this program for one year. Additional study of new evidence is needed to have an effective and fair water plan. Let's protect property rights and help our neighbors at the same time!

Many of my neighbors here in the town of Mendocino have another home somewhere else. I know of at least 6 neighbors due to the "shelter in place" order. The "shelter in place" order has been lifted.
