CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to West Genesee High School.. I mean West Genesee Prison. You're sentence is 720 days of dealing will bogus rules. For most of us we have already embarked on many days at the high school. We have seen new rules be passed every year. And this year "our committee" decided to take drastic measures into their hands without consent of the mass population of students and parents of the students. The committee of students, parents, teachers, and administrators is a closed group, that in it's birth was not mentioned to most students or community. But some how managed to act as a governing body to rule West Genesee. So who is on this committee and what right do they have to govern you I have no idea and they really don't. We have opinions too and if were not allowed to express them democratically, certain measures need to be taken to get us heard. In signing this petition you are hearby stating: - that you disagree with new rules - you would like to have a water bottle in class - releasing of the names of people on the committee - opening the committee to the community - finding ways to make senior week. yeah it should be week, safer and not just banning it all together. - undo alphabetizing of the lockers. What senior wants to be next to their brother or sister who is a freshman - and lastly, agreeing to further protest if demands are not met.
