I love Dorking. I worked there for 12years and love the local people. I believe this pub could be good providing that they sell local ales and wines and buying from them at a fair price and maybe the food they sell are from local producers. I don't think we should dismiss them but bring them on board and welcome them to Dorking.

As a young person,,the night life in Dorking is not a favourable one and with the summer approaching and the park and footy club near I could see it help even out the empty retail unit percentage for this area and re imagine dorking image.. It would also bring back some of us young ones who go to the likes of Reigate, Guilford and Sutton to go out!

Not a suitable location for a Wetherspoons. Maybe the person who made this petition should try living next to one and see how much they enjoy the noise coming from it. I don't have an issue with Wetherspoons coming to Dorking at all, I just don't want to live next to one!
