It is not enough to have the production confined to agricultural/industrial areas. It needs to be a distance from established residential areas. Cannabis production has an extreme and pungent byproduct that should not be inflicted on homeowners who pre-date the legality of the production.

5 days of continuous odour at our home...this should not be allowed. Please fix this city council.

Get your act together city council. Children come to happy rolphs throughout the spring, summer and fall. The animals will be there as well. Will the council member be bringing their children to Rolphs or Sunset Beach in the warm months. I have to wonder if they put this through. These places are where children play in the summer so fix this City council

No cannabis production within at least 1.5 km of any residence. At # 376 Read road a greenhouse is now full of cannabis and it stinks the entire area up. A second greenhouse on read road just sold. i can only guess what they will be growing next. Property values will plummet.

There needs to be legislaation to keep these agricultural industries beyond urban areas.

Would create a definite reduction in property values if these facilities were implemented near residential areas related to scent, security and increased traffic flow.

So, it would appear that cannabis production would be better suited to areas zoned industrial or agricultural ?

I to agree with cannabis being legal ,but I to agree that if it's being grown it should be grown were there is no odor. People that do not agree with it should not be affected by this either.

Each time i drive through Beamsville i feel like vomiting. I always though that someone had ran a skunk over until i found out that there is a grow and/or marijuana production facility. I don't want that i my neighborhood.

In such situation, you really see if you have voted for the right person:businesses vs.the well being of citizens.
