President Obama:
We are taxpayers (unlike Exxon and the Bank of America), and we are your supporters. We are also grown-ups (unlike the Koch brothers) who know the nation needs money to operate, and we're okay with that.
What we are not okay with is taking on a big tax burden to give the richest Americans even more hundreds of millions of dollars, largely borrowed at interest (that we will also pay).
We DO realize that the tax cuts for the wealthy have not and will not create jobs or "trickle down" and we, the struggling middle class, will be stuck with the check.
If you can't sever the 2% from the 98%, VETO IT ALL!!! We'd rather take a little hit now than a huge hit forever.

Enough with the handouts for the 1 percent. My neighborhood is falling apart while these guys buy another yacht. Make them pay their fair share.
