I would like to start a petition / gather some interest from people in regards to the way the futsal competition is run at Liverpool Whitlam center.

I have been competing (that’s funny), I have been participating in the futsal competition in Liverpool for the last 3 years and I / my team are unhappy with changes that have occurred in regards to this competition.

Prior to the new organisers, the competition was 21 rounds including 1 try out round, 18 comp rounds and 2 weeks for finals.

Currently the competition is 15 rounds inc 2 try out rounds, 11 comp rounds and 2 finals rounds.

Previously, we were not required to pay $16 registration fee, the organisers have put this down to player safety, sign on sheet and new equipment.

There is currently a $20 fee if you wish to play later or earlier games.

and lastly, there is no bye on state of origin night.

Please sign this petition if you agree with the following.

- We want a longer competition.

- If we are paying for a registration fee for players we would actually like to see that going towards new equipment as stated, they do not pay for insurance as the Whitlam Centre does that, they had sign on sheets previously, a registration fee does not stop teams from bringing in random players to fill in for a game.

- The $20 fee for later games is kind of a bribe, it should just be accommodating if possible (I understand not all games can be so)

- having a game on origin night is simply Un-Australian.
