We the undersigned are seeking a change in the Parking Regulations as it pertains to the web-hybrid students in the Masters of Social Work program at Valdosta State University. We are requesting a designated parking sticker or additional indicator to avoid receiving tickets when on campus during our required weekends. We attend classes at the North Campus 5 weekends per semester. Our classes are held Friday afternoons until 9 pm and all day Saturday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; we are required to park on the top level of hospital parking lot across the street or in another designated parking lot several blocks away. During the web weekends there is ample parking for students in the lot around the building which would greatly reduce the safety concerns of the participating students.
