This is a complete over development of the site with completely inadequate access and parking provision. To encourage more traffic to use the A64 into town goes completely against the Councils own initiative to encourge use of the park and ride. The sighting of the University College Campus and the UTC on this site is lunacy!
I am concerned about the access to the site and the impact on parking for residents close to the site, particularly those who have to park on the street.
I couldn't attend the planning presentation for the Education Campus as it held during school holidays. Why is the UTC not located with the Yorkshire Coast College with some improvement to the access for all the students on that site. Why is the University not located on the Dean Road site to boost income in the town centre?

This doesnt surprise me - yet another underhand move by this Council. There is likely to be a link here to the Other idiotic plan for Flamingo land Access on the foreshore . Payimg you well are they ?

This has site is being over developed to the detriment of the whole of this residential area, impacting in so many ways.

This development will add unwarranted pressure of additional traffic to both our entrance on Weaponess Valley Road and our exit on Valley Road, endangering our service users who have learning disabilities. mobility problems, sensory impairments and complex medical needs. You only had to see the problems brought on by temporary roadworks recently, with vehicles using our site as a high-speed cut-through at all times of the day and evening, to know how much it will endanger our service users - up to 250 each week will be affected.
