Castle is the best crime series ever, and I think that there's a lot more to uncover about the characters ( like, would Kate be a good mother ? ), and as long as there are new things to be done, the show should continue on a 9th season and even more.
Love Castle way too much to let it end, Too many more story lines for Alexis, Lanie, Marth, The Guys and of Course Mr and Mrs Castle.. Castle Babies! We need more Castle and Not the old story line. So much more to tell. Too many more laughs and good Drama to write!!
Why would they even think of ending Castle. One of the only adult feel good shows on TV, other than the sappy ones. I attempted to watch two new shows this past week with well known movie stars and they were awful. If it ain't broke don't fix it or take it off the air.
Castle is an amazing show with super actors!!! It takes crime fighting to a lighter level allowing the audience to truly enjoy. And for us die hard romantics, we have Kate and Rick, wow what else to say. They make the show!!!!
Castle, has did so much for me as a person, it makes me smile when i think i could never smile again. I only started watching the series 12 weeks ago, but i'm now caught up to season 8. I'm just not ready to let this series go yet. So please don't break my heart and thousands, maybe millions of others.
My wife and I just started streaming castle this summer (2023). We heard it was great, but is AWESOME! This may be one of my favorite shows ever due to blend of action, dram, humor, ridiculously strong chemistry, and character development. The fan base seems to grow every day which is weird, since it’s been off the air so long? It feels like there would be a HUGE built in fan base for ABC to green light a sequel series - “the Castles” or some other cool variant, that picks up after the time jump? How much fun would it be to watch Stana as Kate and Nathan as Rick raising their family and still having adventures? They could then end the story on their terms (need Andrew Marlowe of course)!

Love this show. Can be watched by anyone, of any age, and not be offended. There are healthy relationships between the original major characters, which is unusual on television these days.
