This is terrible PR for Ocean Springs. Ocean Springs is friendly, classy & artsy and this trashy representation does not do it justice. Not just no, but heck NO.

Why-why-why would we EVER want the kind of publicity this type of show would bring OS. We are the kind of town that most families DREAM of living in. Why would anyone let this kind of light shine down on our beautiful-artful-soul soothing hometown.

Ocean Springs is classic sophistication and charm, I believe that allowing a reality show that allows the type of behavior seen on this program will deminish the character of the city.

Of course good ole Connie is all for something that will bring national exposure no matter the cost to the people who live here. What would ocean springs gain from this? This doesn't align with the image our city promotes. Has anyone read the horror stories from Murrells inlet where they last filmed? No thank you.

This show glorifies alcohol abuse which is not a message that needs to be installed to the teens of ocean springs who already drink enough without bringing a low-life tv show into the mix. The show will not represent ocean springs in a genuine light, but make the people of this beautiful town look like uneducated rednecks, need I remind everyone of the way the ocean springs was portrayed on "the simple life". I urge everyone to keep ocean springs classy and not allow this trashy tv show in our town.

If anyone has done their homework on this,. Overall it's a bad idea. They've not represented themselves justly in other communities.

My husband and I moved to Ocean Springs a little over a year ago. We chose this city for its low crime rate and great school districts. While living here, we have discovered that Ocean Springs is much much more than just ratings and standards. It's a community. It's a city with morals and dignity. I have moved around a lot in my young years, but never have I ever felt so at home. We, as a family and as individuals, could not have chosen a better place to grow and mature. With that being said, allowing things of this nature to film or troal around our city would do nothing but promote EVERYTHING we are against as a community. I say NO.
