Patrick Joseph McAloon of County Durham has been writing a Christmas album since 1985. That is to say THIRTY FECKING YEARS. Generations of fans have come and gone, unable to sing"The Madman on the Roof" to their offspring, who have themselves had offspring, even to the ninth generation. And it's REALLY NOT FAIR. Because we'd settle for a sodding flexidisc with one song on, not even well recorded. We call upon the said McAloon, and anyone who can put a little pressure on him, to SORT IT OUT. Please.
a release of the lost Macaloon christmas album would be bigger than Smile for me (and that's saying something!)

Yes Paddy...after 26 years of bearing with your whimsical way of putting out records, I'm , you know, a bit up to here. Do something for your fans, for once, and release that bloody Xmas album :)
