We demand our right to both Thump and Growl (and to boldly split the infinitive). Kimberly Massengill is a treasure and brings an important spirit and audience segment to WBAI.
(Anyway,WBAI's issues are less about programming and more about promotion and audience growth. If you weren't already a listener, how in the world would you know about it? )
We love Kimberly Massengill and sincerely would miss her program, her wit, her sincerity, her egalitarian spirit and perhaps most of all, her music selections. She helps us all grow.
I was fortunate to be a guest host on her show last year and her generosity and encouragement were so heartfelt and appreciated. Let's find a place for her in the schedule.
Thanks,
The Soulful Mr T

We strongly suggest WBAI rerthink this move. We love thump and growl! And All Mixed Up with Peter!! We never recovered from Shock ing Blue's departure, but this will be too much!!

I support the direction WBAI is going in under the leadership of Mario Murillo. That being said, I support Thump and Growl and would like to cotninue hearing this excellent show at the current time, That goes for All Mixed Up too.

I will repeat this wherever I can...TnG is probably one of the top 5 best 2 hours of NY radio extant...it's my #1. No one comes close in terms of introducing me to music of which I would otherwise be unaware

Kimberly's voice should not be stilled in favor of mere chatter.
