Bring it back! I am seriously considering giving up The old site was amazing, the new one is a waste of time.

New livemocha is a low-quality crap, a shame. We have to build our own alternative for livemocha, because it's dead. I hope Rosetta Stone will gain such a bad reputation from what they did they are forced to sell Rosetta.

Je préférais l'ancienne version de Livemocha: j'apprends l'Hindi et sur la nouvelle version il n'y a que les notions de base, alors qu'il y avait les niveaux : débutant, intermédiaire et confirmé sur l'ancienne version. La méthode d'apprentissage sur l'ancienne version était bien meilleure !

I really need priginal livemocha! I cannot even get acsess to new site, and I would'nt able to pay for all lessons. And because of my friends told to me (and showed some screenshots) about a low quality of the new lessons, I even don't want to pay for some of them. I need to finish some of my courses before this summer, and I need to contact my pen-friends from the old site. So please, give old site back to us, it's really strong need.

Give us back what is rightfully ours!! People have worked hard and deserve to KEEP the info/site they originally had! Those of us who were using the old version should be allowed to continue with it if they/we choose! Rosetta Stone - get your money hungry hands OFF!!!

I prefer the old version, because it is better to follow the courses there, plus after each course, you get a certificate.

It was a beacon of international relations on a micro level and taught foreign languages in a fun creative way. The outstanding success of LiveMocha has compelled Rosetta Stone to eliminate such a wondrous rival of language learning and international community integration in order to ensure the survival of our corporation. We hope you will forgive us for buying LiveMocha in order to take the soul out of it. We had hoped that by promising to return the communal soul of LiveMocha despite our true intentions to destroy it, you as a potential consumer base would forget LiveMocha entirely and assimilate with Rosetta Stone. Please understand that we are only trying to survive. The legacy site (old site) has been shut down for good now. Unless the old Livemocha is restored to its former glory, I will no longer log in to this poor excuse for a language website. Any good business knows to listen to its customers and give them what they want. Well we don't want this downgraded shell of a version of our beloved Livemocha! One of the most important aspects of the original site is gone: The community. It's no longer easy to chat with others or share cultural pages and experiences. As well as any progress that was made in our language endeavors has now been lost and we must start completely from scratch. And many of the languages on the "beta" site only offer the "learn the alphabet" lesson set! What is this nonsense? In my original account I was signed up for Korean, Japanese and Chinese for all levels from 101 to as high as they went. Vocabulary sets are gone. Teacher of the week/month/year or student of the week/month/year certifications are gone. The list goes on and on. Every great aspect that made Livemocha what it was, is gone. Congratulations Rosetta Stone; you are responsible for the death of an entire online community.
