Final supporters
These men willingly and knowingly, let fighting dogs rip a cat to pieces for amusement. They also bred fighting dogs to attack and kill each other. They also set the dogs on badgers until the badgers were ripped to pieces. They filmed these attacks on the animals by the dogs for amusement. They got off without ANY jail time. The USPCA said it was one of the worst cases of animal abuse they encountered. The Police Service of Northern Ireland said they were disgusted at the sentence but would have to abide by the judges ruling.
Sign this petition to force the Crown Prosecution Service to review the judges verdict and give these thugs punishment that they so well deserve.

I read the USPCA reports again tonight and it just breaks my heart all over again that people can be so cruel to animals for fun. My inbox is full of messages from people who are just as sickened as I am by those sentences and it helps knowing I am not the only one obsessing over this misery. I am still looking into how exactly we push the authorities to take another look because this cannot be the final word on what happened.

shame on the judge who ruled on this case. where is the deterrent to others who think it is good sport to torture animals? clearly the perpetrators of this crime are not remotely penitent and will do it again.
A women in England received a custodial sentence for putting a cat in a microwave in a moment of rage. These people were cold, systematic abusers who did it for monetary gain & pleasure. Where is the consistency of sentencing there?
Disgusted there is no jail time - sends completely the wrong message to other scum who do this, and makes a mockery of 2 years worth of police and uspca work. Sentence MUST be reviewed, that judge decision has caused more people to loose faith in the justice system
Seeing those thugs laughing outside the court made me very angry, if they can do that to animals in my opinion they could do it to children
This judgement was a travesty. These sumbags had a list of convictions the length of your arm and they get off lightly for abject cruelty.
These monsters should get the same treatment as as the poor animals. RIP THEM TO PIECES!
They should be in JAIL and NEVER allowed to have any animal again.

Just how much cruelty can you inflict on helpless animals before recieving a custodial sentence. It doesn't bear thinking about. The people of N.I. demand tougher sentences in order to that they will deter others from such evil activities.
