In light of the recent school shooting in Connecticut, U.S.A., we the people would like to see better security systems installed in our school(s).

This petition is geared toward St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School in Oshawa, Ontario. It has come to our attention that another school in the area has a buzzer/security camera that allows only select admittance into the school. We wish to see something like this installed to help keep our children safe. The staff of St. Thomas do a wonderful job ensuring our children's safety, but for the sake of all, this is a better precaution, especially in light of other events that have happened in the past.

So please, if this is an idea you agree with, and wish to make sure our children stay as safe as we can manage in this violent day and age, PLEASE sign this petition. If we can get 400 signatures, we will present this to the Principal, and the School Board. Thank you for your time, it shall not go to waste!
