We, the users of CHAI, are calling for the restoration of genuinely free access to the app’s core chat functionality, in line with the expectations created by its own advertising.

The application has been widely promoted using terms such as “free talk,” “endless conversations,” and “all for free,” which reasonably lead users to expect unrestricted, no-cost interaction. However, the current version of the app imposes significant limitations, including message caps and paywalls, which prevent continued use without payment.

These restrictions fundamentally alter the user experience and contradict the impression created by the app’s promotional materials.

We understand that maintaining AI services involves operational costs. However, limiting access in this way—while continuing to promote the service as “free” and “endless”—creates a disconnect between what is advertised and what is delivered.

We urge CHAI to reconsider its current model and restore a fair, accessible experience for all users.
