From the environmental. and socio economic impacts of this alone, let alone the common sense of serving the best interests and safety of those using the health services and farm, the farm needs be supported and the street needs remain open to two way traffic

Yaremich Drive should not be a one way street!

There has to be a better way to fix the problem. The solution shouldn’t cause MORE problems.

Reservoir Community Farm is an incredibly vital place for the Bridgeport community to come together, learn from one another, and access a green oasis that produces life giving fresh fruits and vegetables, grown by the kindest and hardest working people I know. It would be such a shame to see this beautiful place suffer due to inaccessibility. Please work with the community to find a solution to this issue!

Once again Bridgeport passes rules and regulations without public input. It's time to talk to our citizens.

Two reasons alone on why the signs should be taken down, one the people in the community who it will be impacting the most were never notified and second, it was already over ruled in the past. The people making the decision to turning the street into a one way are obviously not thinking of the safety and well being of those who would be impacted. This is what makes it so sad. Let the decision be made by those who live in the community other than those who live elsewhere.

I'm a Bridgeport resident, and I ask that you not change this traffic pattern without further consideration of the impacts.

The decision to deny the one way was already made. Why reverse it? It does not appear to serve public safety interests or the residents.

The farm is an incredible community asset - for youth and homeowners in the area. Community farms like these fuel economic growth and can raise property values. See the Michigan urban farming initiative in Detroit’s north end as a standout example - it was even featured in their application video for the amazon HQ.

Reservoir Farm has created an oasis for people in its neighborhood. People of all ages arrive on foot and by car 7 days a week. Why put them at risk by changing driving patterns and increasing vehicular traffic? We need more centers like Reservoir Farm that build community, not more cars. Let's press the pause button and discuss this plan with all of the people it will effect.

I think this was wrong to be done without the input of those people that live there and that are most affected by this action.

We were never informed our street was turning into a one-way what a shock when I get off work to people were breaking almost crashing into each other

It’s time to listen to the people who will be most impacted by this rushed decision to change Yaremich drive to a one way street. It makes no sense to have traffic forced to travel through a neighborhood to reach the doctor and farm. These destinations require easy access. Yaremich drive has plenty of room for 2 way traffic and there has not been a problem with this traffic pattern in the past. Why change it? Sincerely, Monique Bosch

This change is such an inconvenience to many. Emergency vehicles, school bus stops, the farm, and most importantly the neighborhood and condo complex which makes drivers have to travel in a circle just to get home. There are too many residents in this Yaremich, Stonebridge, etc to only be able to travel one way. Please change it back.

Dear Council people Roman-Christy and McBride Lee, I am a supporter of Reservoir Community Farm and strongly oppose the new one-way road signs on Yaremich Drive. They are not making our neighborhood safer for us, and they are not making our neighborhood more accessible. Please remove the signs immediately and host public hearings and notices for such changes in the future so that ALL voices can be heard. Thank you, Maria
