ok guys i was able to get hold of someone who worked on this game and well...good news and bad news are about the same..."I can tell you what I know, which isn't much. PetPet Park was a pretty complicated game to build, we had to set up our own system using (corrected for clarity: open space) This was built by people that hadn't built an MMO before, so it wasn't as streamline as it could have been, and loading the art was complicated, and very custom, because of the game being built in 2D, instead of 3D. That's why, bringing it back, depends on how careful Jump Start was with the files, and keeping the programs intact. When PetPet Park closed, it was because Nickelodeon sold Neopets to Jump Start." So sounds like you guys need to find that part out or petition for neopets to see what files they have:) also the creator of this petition could you please contact me at petpet project, either make a post or use the message group option so we can coordinate this? they may have some information that is useful to you on where to send that petition at:)

i do hope someone is working on it since so far neopets itself is saying they are not and generally petitions rarely succeed on their own to get the game back. i posted the link here to neopets editorial page in the past and that still seems our best option to getting the game noticed for bringing back since its where the neopets players suggest things for neopets, and is read by an actual person at neopets that mabe could help it. Remember toontown reloaded had 100,000 people on a petition and they more or less had to restore the game themselves and its still not even clear if its legal how they did it, i think largely disney just more or less choose to not care. that seems what we would have to do it seems unless we get some more direct actions going.

Ok guys, i found out some interesting news here that is news at least. I found out what the parks engine was....http://www.openspace-engine.com/ and look under showcase and see who the client is. Keep in mind this is not a return of this game, but is news none the less since no one has posted it before? Also starting to see a lot more concept art on the web that brought up folks that worked on the original space in the higher levels. also seeing more concept art appearing on the web too, if you do choose to contact them please treat these folks with the utmost respect as they worked hard on the game were trying to restore and would be a very great help in getting it back. We might be mad at jumpstart for closing it, but no need to tear into its staff that ran it until it closed, it will only make the task we want done harder by them not wanting to assist.
