There are millions of Salsa & Charanga fans out there. We must keep it alive.

In Chicago, there is no commercial station at all that features salsa! However, if you scan the fm dial, you will surely hear at least three commercial stations that feature Regional Mexican music. Those same stations will play bachata periodically, but no salsa at all! It's a very sad state of affairs relative to salsa here in Chicago.

I'm from the Bronx, and listen to a station from Orlando Fl. 99. 7 pura salsa. No encuentro suficiente salsa in the local stations.

I grew up listening to all kinds of Spanishspeaking radio and grew up bilingual proficient in both languages. I support this petition to recognize and play all kinds of Latin music which adds to the cultural diversity in this country!

In Central America and South America we listen Salsa and Tropical Music. Our music that is played in regular broadcast now is only focused on Mexicans and not on the rest of the Latin American in Chicago. We need to provide the music of all of our cultures not focus on only one.

I'd prefer our own station with our own DJ's playing our Salsa. Al fin quien sabe más de nuestras raíces que El Caribeño mismo!!!!
