Time Warner Cable (or the FCC) have decided that the customers in the Otsego/Delaware County areas no longer benefit from the news and weather coverage of WBNG out of Binghamton. They have decided the Utica based station, WKTV, is a better choice. But as only the locals know, WBNG has the best coverage for our area, accurate weather and actually covers the news and event s we care about. they never gave us a choice or even notified us until after it happens and only notified online. Well, WE WANT OUR LOCAL NEWS & WEATHER BACK! Sign this petition to show TWC and the FCC that we are not kidding and we demand to have WBNG back!

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that my frustration is shared by so many of you. It is exhausting to fight these big companies but knowing I have you behind me gives me enough steam to keep pushing forward.

Whatever savings you have enjoyed as a result of this switch, the mass exodus of customers to Direct TV is going to be more costly. You have an opportunity to right a wrong. This IS our local news station. We already have Utica news. Since you did not publicly announce the switch, I am requesting a public response to this petition.
why would we want news from over 100 miles away? We want real weather from our area and news from our area.. looks like it is time to change companies, rates go up, service goes down... seems to be the way of America lately!
Utica news and commercial advertising is completely irrelevant to our area. I do not conduct business in utica and have no desire to see news, weather or advertising for an area I am not part of!
I want my news back!
Oneonta is part of the tri county area (Delaware, Otsego and Chenango)
Why take away the only station that gave us local news Utica sucks we pay enough money to time warner we has consumers should have what we like not what Corp wants.
Bring back WBNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oneonta and its surroundings do not identify with Utica, we identify with the Binghamton area. We have an interstate highway which goes straight between Oneonta and Binghamton. To go from Oneonta to Utica is a map-wielding adventure running over several, at least, secondary roads. We say about Utica "you can't get there from here. The FCC should re-examine their market boundaries.
