I'm not even a BISD student any longer but this is important in any school district! Music is a concentrate helper. Taking music from some students leads to distraction & therefore less students actually working.

First it was limiting our clothing options in 90+, humid summer weather. Then it was a mandatory belt rule for guys (some of which can hardly afford clothes). Now this? "Children first, always" No; you're putting your own agenda forward as you always have and limiting not only the students' comfort, but their creative freedom as well. Until it can be proven that headphones pose a serious problem, the most serious problem will be the reaction of the students. Thank you, Bryan ISD, for once again making school feel like a prison and not a place of education.
