My Aunty had 2 dogs disappear never to be seen again :( My dog I rescued at 18 mths old from a gang compound. He was being tortured as a bait dog for fighting dogs as he wouldn’t turn nasty & fight. The worst most destructive & dangerous animal is the human race. ;(:(

This crime of on selling or worse of our pets has got to stop and the only way this will happen is if our lawmakers grow some backbone and come down hard on the filth that do this

Dig theives believe they can get away with their crime because it get's scant attention. Frequently, these poor pooches are used in horrific dog fighting rings. The media has a massive part to play in changing dog theft to an activity with a high risk of being identified/caught. Please step up and publicise the hell out of every dog reported missing.

Most who steal dogs have no idea how to look after them or how much they cost in vets bills and feeding properly, you can't just chain a dog up in your back yard and tell everyone you are a dog owner, ownership comes with costs and responsibilities!

This is terrible and something needs to be done about it.

People who steal dogs are without empathy or humanity i.e psychopaths.

Hi my darling Bella a cross Lhasa Apso Maltese has been missing from papamoa plaza post shop for over 3 weeks!!! She was on a regular walk, that she does 2-3 times a week , with my son aged 25. She is approximately 11 years old, and has had a on going ear infection that has left her partially def in her left ear. Her eye sight is not that great either. She is a loyal dog, that has never strayed further than next door.. She is the kind of dog that doesn’t like to have you out of her sight. It’s in her nature as I have trained her to be a Theraphy dog. She has low energy, and rarely barks. She is our best friend and my son with autism is pretty upset.. I have had a few maybe sightings in the last few weeks. Gravatt road, Palm Springs boulevard, Hartford street, And recently down by the pap house near Parton road. She is wearing a black leather rhinestone collar from the Texas rodeo. Can anyone please help me!!! Bella I don’t believe would go on her own. I believe possibility someone has had her jump into their car at the plaza.. It was a cold wet Sunday afternoon, and it was a case of one minute she was there, and one minute she wasn’t. She is specifically trained to stay close, to come to someone whom maybe sad, or sick... She has birthed 9 pups, all were sold to people in need after the Christchurch earthquakes.. 100% successful, every single pup lived up to its reputation... So I am beside myself with worry... I have searched high and low, and I have put the word out, but I have had no joy... My biggest concern maybe she is hurt.... and scared.... Please can anyone help...
