As we were leaving the Spring Band Concert my sister said " what a phenomenal teacher!" That has always been my impression too since my daughter had him in sixth grade. Why is he being let go?

He has opened up my brother to the world of music, something I am beyond grateful for.

Saw both middle school concerts this year he is amazing with the kids and the improvement that they have made is remarkable. You should be fighting to keep him if the kids best interest was your concern. Disappointed in the school system.

I had Mr. Regimbald last year for music and he was such a nice person and teacher. He taught relevant material and always spread positivity to class. He was a teacher that you remember as a very kind person. It would be such a disappointment for the Wolcott Public School system to lose him as a member of their team.

After watching a video of Jeremiah Regimbald conduct piece with the school band, it is obvious the passion and talent he brings to the position. Please don't deny these children the opportunity to learn and explore the art of music with an amazing teacher! We need more educators like him, not less!

My grandson is a sixth grade student at TMS and enjoys his music lessons by Mr. Regimbald. This teacher has taught him so much that I am so proud of the progress my grandson has made in his class. It would be an injustice to removed him from the program, as the students love to learn from him. Please consider letting Mr. Regimbald continue teaching these students- he has done well.

I went to college with Jeremiah; his passion for music was always evident, as was his interest in learning. He stood out amongst our peers as someone willing to ask the extra questions and put in the extra work to become the best musician and teacher he could. These qualities, combined with his kind nature and positive demeanor, make him exactly the kind of person we need to foster a love of the arts in children. Not reinstating him would be doing a disservice to any students he should have an opportunity to work with in the future.

Thank you for your comments! If you are able to attend the Board of Education meeting on Monday, we want to attend to show support and literally beg them to keep him at Tyrrell. I just hope it's not too late. Another school is going to scoop him up in a heartbeat and our loss will be their gain
