Those in the L.A./O.C. radio industry need to pay attention to what's going on in the metal world today. Even with or without radio airplay, many of the bands that were staples of KNAC are either still making records or selling out venues or both, like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax, Dream Theater, Alice In Chains, Queensrÿche, Guns N' Roses, Scorpions, Sepultura, Overkill and many others. I can see that as one of the reasons KNAC should come back as an FM radio station, especially with a proper signal.

Hypothetically speaking, if KNAC ever did return it would appear on a new frequency on the FM dial. If a radio station exists in Los Angeles that plays regular classic rock (100.3 The Sound), then KNAC can be the station that would focus on playing classic hard rock/metal ranging from the early '70s to the mid '90s (just like the Pure Rock of old). One can only hope.
Pure Rock 105.5 KNAC - the REAL, undisputed radio station that is "World Famous".
