This would give a big break also if they had a local station backing them. Its nice to have my bands played on station in other countries but L.A. needs this bad! I still have the recordings of my different bands like Fatal Attraction ,Trick Or Treat and Stiletto being played and the ads for upcoming shows ,I like to hear those ,the sunset strip ruled and there will never be another time like that ,but Knac back would help!

Absolutely, the last time I listen to any radio station that I liked was when KNAC was on the air. Ever sense KNAC went off the air I have been mostly listening to CDs and Internet radio. Stations like KLOS, 100.3 The sound, even K EARTH are classic rock. I'm 44 now and I can't believe their isn't a Southern California station that plays music from our generation. I see concerts all the time selling out tickets from Iron Maiden, Judus Preast, Ozzy Ozbourn and so on and so on. There is a major demand for a Metal station and no one has the balls or the brains to see an great opportunity when it's staring them right in the face. If I won the lotory and won millions of dollars I would buy out those Mexicans at 105.5 in a heart beat and revive KNAC. Not only that I would have millions of listeners who only I have access to because all the other radio stations are copy cat, boring, playing the same crap every day sell outs.
