It's time to think like a city not a small town.

If we are to successfully compete with the rest America...we need to offer a more progressive approach by offering our visitors and citizens a choice...FOODIE TRUCKS NOW!

This would be a great addition to our community. The fact that we have laws that prohibit this type of business is asinine.

Be nice to see. But unless one of THE town families gets onboard never happen. But we can hope!

Food trucks offer a diverse lunch/dinner option for many people that don't like fast food and would love a healthier or more exotic choice in their food over the typical places that you can eat in downtown that are packed during the lunch hours and cause people to not have as long on their lunch breaks.

you're absolutely right. It's a hinderance on what could be a food revolution in the city.

Besides the fact that food trucks are just cool in general, they're a pretty cost effective, low-risk option for those wanting to break into the restaurant industry. AND they can give us much more local food options, especially during that 4th meal hour. In a city that is starting to becoming plagued with crappy chain restaurants, we need to do what we can to support more local and small business.

Columbus is behind the times on this! It's proven to be successful in MANY different cities. Take note Columbus.

There's a really cool event happening in Columbus in a couple weeks called River Fest. Gonna be food trucks there and it will be awesome. Except the fact that all of these food trucks are coming from other towns because the laws in Columbus suck. Fix this!

I would love to see food trucks in Columbus Ga. Good competition is always good for long established business that become complacent with their food and marketing strategies.

I strongly support this initiative as an alternative and to support sporting and other events in Columbus.

I highly support the idea of food trucks in Columbus. Having lived in several cities around the country, food trucks bring a lot of foot traffic to downtown areas. Food trucks along Broadway and Front Ave. would significantly increase downtown activity. Columbus is at pivotal point in the direction it wants to take, stay the same or continue moving forward to be on the same level as other cities such as Greenville, Chattanooga, or Asheville.
