Dr. Blast helped prepare me for graduate school in osteology and was a great biological anthropology professor!

As an alum of BSU and a current PhD student at UNR, I can attest that if you lose Dr. Blatt you will not be able to compete with the forensic program at UNR and will lose many potential master students as a result.

I attended BSU on and off for over 10 years until graduation. It's safe to say I have observed many changes in the anthropology department. Biological anthropology is an extremely (probably the most) important component to the "full picture" of evolutionary study. Dr. Blatt would encourage students to come to her office for help if needed. She is extremely dedicated, intelligent, selfless with her time, and progressively interested in experimentational (cross disciplinary) approaches to education that WILL advance humanities future! The loss will be devastating, and if considering the gross conduct of other professionals at BSU (who's jobs were somehow secured), laughable.

Replacing with a temp teacher? At bsu? Ridiculous! Keep the biology anthropology teacher and pay her. My god this is embarrassing for boise, Idaho and your school.

Samantha Blatt is an incredible instructor, with tons of expertise and passion. It would be a disservice to BSU to let her go or even skip a year.

A department of behavioral ecologists getting rid of the one person who actually inspires student research is a sad event. Don't worry, more courses on modeling and costly signaling coming your way kids! Ugh.

This teacher is important to a lot of people. It's through her care that these students want to learn. Please reconsider and keep Dr. Blatt on at BSU

She is my teacher and my friend, I look to her for guidance in my field of study and hope to be able to go to her for advice. She is important to education.

Dr. Blatt played a major role in my success earning a master's degree and onward to accepting a fully funded position to earn my PhD! Boise state would be losing a major contributor to the Department of Anthropology and who inspires the interests of students in the field (something the department desperately needs!).

I've known Sam (Dr. Blatt) since we were a single digit age. She is the smartest person I know and it would be a shame for her not to teach. She loves her students as much as they love her.

She & I got our undergraduate degrees together. She is truly dedicated both to her career path & students! It would be a mistake not to keep her!

The amount of students Dr. Blatt has helped is endless. I've never heard a negative word regarding her teaching at BSU, only praise for the guidance and mentorship she has provided.

She was instrumental in reigniting my passion for my major. Without her, I probably never would've graduated. It is, in my opinion, of utmost importance to retain her services as a faculty member.
