Hey Dannielle, don't waste your time its an infrastructure problem (there isn't one) not a provider issue.

About to leave BT to see if connection is better elsewhere! Paying a ridiculous amount for bugger all!

Agree with others that in new development the broadband issues were not considered.

Appalling broadband speed. Working from home is not an option. An acceptable broadband speed should be part of the standard infrastructure on any new development. Needs fixing.

The poor provision of broadband makes it impossible to work productively from home meaning that it is much more difficult to balance work and family properly

it's disgusting that neither BT nor Virgin have done anything for this estate even after 2 years. Why did the council even allow the builders to build new houses without fiber connections ? lack of .... ?

Broadband speed is awful currently I had to go to my parents house to just create a simple photo card as internet speed was so bad it wouldn't connect at home.

It should have been considered from day one such a housing estate would want fibre optic broadband. Anyone with a device that connects to the Internet would want the fastest speed possible. For the amount of money we have paid for these new houses we should have the fastest internet that money can buy currently. Yet we are struggling with woeful speeds. We should not have to pay out of our own pockets for any upgrades to the distribution.

This needs doing urgently. This level of broadband in the fastest growing town in the country in 2016 is just unacceptable.

Disgraceful that a new development is planned without the foresight of the need for high speed internet access, particularly when our lives today are so dependant on this service. Is this anymore acceptable than not providing an adequate supply of gas, water or electricity?! The blame should lie with the developers who have chosen the cheap option to benefit themselves not the home owner.

Our broadband is terrible, 1.4mb download speed, 0.3mb upload, meant to get 17mb tried 2 different suppliers and they are letting us cancel as minimum speeds cannot be supplied just about to sign up with a third to see if that's any better. If people want to work and study from home this is unacceptable, even 5mb isn't achievable and it doesn't help that chase meadows misses the EE mobile 4G signal too so we cant even use our mobile phone internet as 3G isn't steady either.
