Coach V was the heart and soul of the WPUSB program. I can only hope to be half the coach she is one day. I can't say enough great things about her as a coach, person, and now friend. The program for sure will never be the same without her and will be impacted negatively.

Vanessa impacted not only my daughters but our lives as well. She supported her throughout her softball and education journey at WPU. She is a great person inside and out. The decision to fire Vanessa will hurt William Paterson for years to come. This is devestating news !!

Vanessae Lenoir is the best coach I have ever had. She goes above and beyond for her players and athletes. To let such a dedicated coach and person go after 18 years of coaching is a huge disappointment to the alumni. Vanessa has shaped me into the person and coach I am today. It's sad to think WPU is depriving future student athletes the opportunity to be coached by this individual. I ask that WPU reconsider the reasons Vanessa was let go and realize the negative impact it will have on the university and softball program.
