Up to this point,the fishing scene in Singapore has not been good.Due to bad angling practices and also due to misunderstandings between the relevant authorities and the angling public,as well as the public in general. The objective of this petition is two-fold:Put a stop to bad angling practices and increase the responsiveness of the authorities to bad angling practices that pollute our parks and our reservoirs such as littering of dead fish all over the park and drift netting being done in reservoirs and canals. What you can do: STOP bad angling practices like netting,keeping more than you need,littering REMEMBER,the authorities want to be on our side!However,they do not know our objectives and intentions.Let us make clear our objectives and intentions to them:Sport fishing and being able to fish in harmony with other park goers. REPORT any bad angling practices like netting,littering and making a nuisance in public parks and fishing grounds Lets move toward a better fishing scene in Singapore
