In the special features on the Perks of a being a Wallflower DVD/bluray Stephen Chbosky the author/writer/director said in his commentary that if he ever did an extended cut of the film, he'd include the deleted scenes. If you haven't watched the deleted scenes, please do; they are all amazing. So this is a petition to demand a re-release of the film! One that includes all of the scenes filmed for fans of the original source material. We don't care if we sit in the theater silently sobbing for hours, because that's what we did when we read the book.
