This petition is to request that our studio change the 50's to 45's.  First and far most hands have problems gripping the larger poles.  This can and has caused preventable injury.  Another issue is during class the upper level students prefer to work 3 to a pole instead of using the 50's.  Also, there have been times that students have been "pushed" off of the 45's they're using by upper level students.  Students who are waiting for the next class "move" students that are staying for multiple classes.  The beginning and intermediate students are intimidated to ask to use the 45's.  Overall, all students prefer the smaller poles.  Also, note that most if not all professional showcases and competition use the small size poles.  Students should be exposed to what is in these venues on a regular basis so that there are no transition issues.   To resolve these issues the 50's in the back of the studio should be replaced with 45's.  This has been discussed amongst the students and there is significant concurrence to this action.  Thank you
