It is time we stand up to discrimination and injustice to LGBT. Adam Lambert is a brilliant performer. Let's not ban his performance because of his sexual orientation. He is a smart and sensitive guy. He will know what to perform and do to touch Singaporeans. Let's not be so xenophobic.

If I thought that the first petition truly reflected the people of Singapore, then I would respect their views -- if though I strongly disagree with them. But that petition was organized by an American group, and, as an American, I find it appalling on several levels. #onesongatatime.

There's no good reason why Adam Lambert should not perform. It is displeasing to stop someone from performing to celebrate the new year. Stop discrimination! Let's be an inclusive society, which is what we're aiming for. Let the performer perform! He's just trying to let us have an awesome celebration for the new year! Those who still don't want him to perform, just don't watch the countdown party then! Celebrate the new year another way! It's not as if it's compulsory to watch the countdown party!
