Music is the universal language of love, if we behave discriminated, we are no different from the terrorists.... That's exactly what the other voters are amd that's how wars start so i refuse to let you destroy whatever is left of World Peace... Your kids won't turn gay watching Lambert sing; having parents like those voters will.

I do not believe we are upholding our "values" by being discrimatory. It is deplorable how they (the people who signed the other petition) are using other words such as "wholesome", "values" and "morals" just to cover up the fact that they are anti-LGBT so that they can appear as good people. If it is lewd acts that they are truly worried about, they would have banned a bunch of other artists from performing in Singapore. I do not wish to let those people misrepresent us. We are better than that.

Those selfish idiots who signed the Anti Lambert petitions are obviously not in sync with the real world!! How can Singapore progress with such an extreme group of people trying to impose their ultra conservative view on a first class country like Singapore. I live in Taipei and Taiwaneses are a lot more open in this aspect.

I'm not gay myself but it pains my heart to see fellow Singaporeans speaking out with such lack of control against these unique group of individuals who have made their personal choice! Music is shared by all, and I am sure after these petitions, Adam definitely understands that there is a portion or Singaporeans who are rather conservative and hence would not attempt anything to draw negative attention to himself! So he shall remain.

Adam Lambert deserve to perform in countdown in Singapore. He's got the voice & the best performer. He know how to toned down he's act according to he's audience. Just relax & enjoy. Do not discriminate.

I'm a Singapore living in New York, and although there are many things I am proud of about Singapore, the way we treat people with different preferences and values to us is shameful.

Hatred, bigotry and discrimination of "others" are hallmarks of a backward looking, ill read and ignorant populace..I hope for peace and equality for everyone in a future without fear and shame.
