I won't be going because I live elsewhere but I know Adam to be a loving gentle soul. What he does at night is not our business and doesn't affect his great voice and his showmanship . I am 52 and have an Autistic son but I would love to have him as another son .

I am utterly disgusted by the petition placed against the singer Adam Lambert ,who's works I am familiar with, who is slated to perform at the countdown show.I personally join this movement to show my sign of support for singer Adam as well as to prove a point that not every Singaporean is bothered by an individual's sexuality. It is simply no ones business what someone's sexual preference is.Learn to respect, not discriminate .

It appears as if Singapore has contracted the US's bigoted hypocritical hate-mongering attitude of the minority. I hope Adam outclasses them (not hard to do, really) and does his class act as if this never happened.

No one should be discriminated like this. Singaporeans should find it an honour that he is performing in our sunny island rather than celebrating with his friends and family.

If a contract wa s signed it needs to be honor. He has one of a kind voice and he can't help being beautiful. His personal life is his own. As long as he gives them a great performance with dignity they can't or shouldn't have the right to oust him.

I think Adam Lambert should perform because he's amazing and he's just like anyone else he's a good singer who cares who he chooses to sleep with

Can't homophobes mind their own business? He's just coming here to perform, not lead a goddamned gay pride parade

Like seriously , I never thought Singapore was such a country where they discriminate others .
As a Singaporean , I feel quite ashamed . If you do not want to Adam lambert here , just don't watch the countdown show . Why is there so much fuss over him performing? Singapore is a good country and we can do more than just discriminating others just because they are a bit different. As such , I support the petition .

This country is built on the values of tolerance, acceptance and equality. It's a shame a minority of our population has tainted the reputation of Singapore with their petition attacking Adam Lambert and the LGBT community. I sign this petition because it's wrong and vile to discriminate. Say no to homophobia. It's a disease that should be wiped out.
