When they said Adam is "contrary to mainstream Singaporean values" I hadn't realised that bigotry and spreading hate were part of mainstream Singaporean values! wow, really embarrassing to be reminded that there's still closed-minded people who love impinging into other people's lives.

I can't even begin to express how ridiculous I think the original petition is... Adam Lambert is more than just his sexuality and to reduce it to such is to show how ignorant and judgemental you are. Thank you for starting this counter petition.

Singapore "pro family organization" which we know is made up of which organization, is really getting out of hand. it's just purely performance, if Singapore is going to be affected and ruled by such people with their believes, Singapore is indeed going backwards and with the current state, I guess more and more Singaporeans will want to give up their citizenship and migrate elsewhere.

please let him perform he's an inspiration to many and also a kind soul. arguments made against him performing are all biased and mainly discrimination by people who obviously aren't going to watch him perform

People should not just focus on Adam's sexual orientation. So what if he is gay? People should be respected and accepted regardless of their sexual orientation. People should be respected and accepted for who THEY are. Furthermore, Adam performing in Countdown 2016 would not teach kids the wrong stuffs and turn them gay??? People need to recognize Adam as a performer and judge him based on his MUSIC and personality NOT his sexual orientation. Stop discriminating against gay people please, Singapore.
