I don't like playing the petition game. But since the anti-gay people are keen to push all gay people out of public arenas, even if they are just singing pop songs, then we have to sign our own petition and show that they are not the only voice and view around. Please sign. Thank you! - Otto Fong
I think trying to ban Adam Lambert is wrong. I am not a fan of him but this act is not right for Singaporeans.

I am signing this petition, not because I'm a fan of Adam Lambert or am dying to see him perform. I don't agree with artists using sex to promote themselves, whatever their sexual orientation is. BUT I disagree GREATLY with the thousands of ignorant, hate-filled, uncompassionate and erroneously presumptuous messages filling the comments page of the other petition. I am Singaporean and I am signing this petition to demonstrate my opposition to those reasons stated for removing Adam from the line-up for this Singaporean event and to show that not every Singaporean tolerates such invalidation.
Examples of some of these reasons (I'm hoping they're not for real):
"Dun support gay singer, he not welcome here"
"Please do not engage this LGBT supporter of dubious character to perform in our Jubilee celebrations. We fear the corruption of our youth!"
"We should be careful inviting a gay performer ...sending wrong message to the children n society. Many years ago if i am not wrong the BEE GEEs were banned fm performing here due to their hippie hairstyle. Keep the good culture that was laid by our founder LKY."

This is absurdity. This young man has one of the finest voices on the planet. I have seen him in a dozen performances. I have never seen him be inappropriate.
