Grace Fu, please comment on this since you were directly addressed by the so called 'moral majority'. I'm curious whether the government has any courage to take some position on this

It's a disgrace that Singapore is still stuck in the era of denying people rights because of who they love. We out to be promoting love, not bigotry and hate.

Blatant idiotic bigoted "concerned citizens" should just accept the fact that Adam Lambert is an amazing performer. Plus, do you think he will not abide by our country's ground rules and etiquette for performers coming here? I don't think he is as ignorant and stupid as you people petitioning against him coming are.

It is utterly dissappointing to know that there are people out there that still conceive such narrow-minded discriminatory thoughts. So what if he's gay? We're all humans in the end.

Do not condemn a performer just because he does not fit your so called "normal" criteria. He is himself as a performer and nobody should stop him from doing what he love and how he do it.

This is an outright blatant discrimination of one's sexual identity. In the entertainment industry, there's tons of celebrities that are gay. Take Ellen Degeneres for example. How many can claim that they don't watch her talkshow for fear of turning gay if they so much as to peek at it? Its really nonsensical isn't it? Barring an artist to perform just because of their sexual orientation is plain bigotry at its best. And to fight this bigotry, i'll do my part to sign this petition. This is the best way to show that Singaporeans have moved on with the time. And because of a few bad apples doesn't make Singapore a homophobic country.

That petition isn't a matter of everyone being entitled to their opinions. It's just a few paragraphs based on outdated events and severe prejudice sprinkled with extreme double standards. In short, it's messed up.

No artist should be denied the stage because of his sexual orientation. NO. ARTIST.
