The fact that the people residing in Singapore and those associated with the "pro-family" agenda wanted Adam Lambert off Singaporean shores for a concert, goes to display that Singapore as a "first-world nation" is not mature and ready to become a progressive society. The move to boycott on the unfounded basis of a deviated sexual orientation is unwarranted, and will sabotage Singapore as a viable media and arts hub for years to come. PLEASE BRING ADAM LAMBERT TO SINGAPORE!

I believe every individual is entitled to the basic human rights. There is no right or wrong regarding whether one should embrace the idea of acceptance towards LGBT. However, there should not be discrimination against people who do not conform to the majority values. I think the modern Singapore society should be generous enough to accept LGBT. I also strongly belief that Mediacorp will ensure that this performance does not violate religion values. Fighting Adam Lambert!

Those who petitioned against Adam performing, they think they know him, quoting his past performances and his recent music video. Now, let me ask if they have ever attended any of his live shows over the past 2 years. Bet you the answer is No. People who have never been to his shows, please stop referencing his 2010 performance and judging him. You come out as bigots, you sound like bigots and you make the rest of us look bad. Don't ruin our nation's reputation. Don't let, get lost, stay away from the NYE party. It is absurd that someone should be stopped from performing at an event because some people don't agree with their sexual orientation. The performance has nothing to do with sexual orientation. If people do not like the sexual orientation of the performer, all they have to do is not to attend the performance. They have no right to stop others from enjoying the performance.
