I am utterly disappointed that Singapore actually discriminates people because of their sexual orientation. Shouldn't we be over that already? People should starting learning to live in PEACE and HARMONY together. Regardless of race, language, religion, sexual orientation, rich or poor.

I'm so sad that I have to sign a petition for this. Adam is an amazingly talented performer and the fact that he is gay doesn't affect or hurt anyone. I am speechless that there are 14,000 homophobic, intolerant and discriminatory people in Singapore and counting. The fact that the number is so high is incredibly disappointing. Please do not cancel his appearance! He doesn't deserve this cruel and appalling discrimination.

Adam Lambert is first and foremost a singer, a performer, an entertainer, and should be regarded as such. He has been invited to perform, no more and no less. To focus on his sexual orientation and thus conclude his suitability to perform at the countdown, is shallow and discriminatory. Adam is not an advocate of homosexualism, but he is an advocate of love. He should be treated with respect just like any other invited artists. We would very much like to have Mr. Adam Lambert perform at Singapore's countdown this year, and hope the organisers and sponsors will stick to their decision, and also prove that Singapore is big-hearted and not narrow-minded.
