What does Adam's sexuality have anything to do with him opening his mouth and singing? As for these 'lewd' acts, Marvin Gate and Meghan Trainor kissed at the AMAS yet they would be allowed to perform. If this is about GNT what artist hasn't done something that would be considered 'lewd' these days yet they would be allowed. Funny how you would accept a man going to war to kill another man yet condemn a man from going to an alter and confirming his love for another man.

Our decision to have Lambert here is not about Lambert and perhaps not even necessarily about being pro LGBT. It's certainly not about Christians and Muslims.
It is about us as a society that is tolerant and inclusive. As we have pledged ourselves to be one united people regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society based on justice and equality.
This is exactly the time to put this manifesto of ours to the test.
