This is ridiculous, that people can so blatantly disregard the singer's orientation as inappropriate and not family friendly. I don't know what our government is trying to achieve, but if his performance is cancelled due to the homophobia of close-minded individuals in our society, all the "equality" Singapore has been trying to promote would be for naught.

What are we teaching our future generations, by shying away anything that is not the "norm" in society. Shouldn't we be showing the kids that we should accept everyone for who they are, what they are and how they are? There is a reason why bullying and xenophobia exists largely in our society today. No one ever said to become "gay", you just accept them because that is their choice of life and that is none of your business. You choose what you choose and people still accept you. Why? Because everyone is different and you have no right to dictate what should be accepted in society and what should not.
