He's an awesome singer, and I believe that we can be accepting and open-minded to differences as well, having just celebrated our 50th Anniversary as a nation.

Saw a message from my Christian uncle. You might want to scroll down for the message I'm replying to.
I would like to say something against the few pointers listed.
>1. Your family of four and your circle of friends are the minority of narrow minded Singaporeans.
>2. America is an open minded country so this might seem acceptable to Adam or his company itself. We are all clear that the western culture is naturally more open minded. You mentioned Singapore is more of a reserved and conservative country which means that when Adam is notified to perform in Singapore, he would be clear of the Asian culture and would likewise not be likely to have any explicit performance.
>3. I LOL-ed hard enough at the 'openly-gay'. Are you against him because he's gay? What's wrong? Singaporeans are traditional-conservative? Did you know Singapore has the most western influence amongst the Asian countries? Should we be more open minded to different people? Aren't they Singaporeans, humans too? That's dumb
>4. You're the filth and garbage. Don't insult someone's precious son like that. Isnt Singapore going to invite our local talents already? This is just a special segment for the Singaporeans! If he did repeat his actions just like he did at the American Music Awards, sue him lah. After all Singaporeans are narrow minded and unwilling to accept LGBT rights thanks to religions. Christian speaking here, I love God, God told me to love people. No one can judge anyone except Him.
>5. Adam Lambert is just in Singapore to bring more joy to the Singaporeans. He's just here to sing and give entertainment for us to countdown. It's a once a year thing, you think he doesn't want to spend the day with his family? Come on, be courteous. He's definitely going to bring the countdown atmosphere to the next year and I'm going to support him.
>6. Don't go to THEFLOAT@MARINABAY countdown if you insist to be narrow minded. Turn off or switch channel when it's Adam Lambert's turn t

We are a society of justice and equality. Gay families or single parent families are still families nonetheless. No reason for such ostracism.

Music is a language by itself. He is a talented singer and performer. His choices in being gay will not affect you. That is his choice. Don't destroy his performance just because you do not approve of his life choices.

Please stop this bigotry. Sexual orientation has got nothing to do with being a performer.

I'd think Singaporeans were more accepting than this.

This is ridiculous! He is the most talented performer/singer in the world. It should be a privilege for people over there to see him live on NYE. Just relax and have fun.
