The opposing petition is really homophobic and really makes me ashamed of being Singaporean, if that sort of behaviour is supposed to reflect who we are...

I hope people see it for what it is - it's a performance on a countdown show by an incredibly talented artist. Not a gay man 'promoting sexualized behaviour'. Whatever they are hiding behind is purely an excuse for their homophobia. Why does Singapore promote harmony and diversity, yet a worrying group still exhibits such discriminatory behaviour? Respect people for their individuality and talent. Any form of discrimination has no place in Singapore.

It's myopic as it is archaic to think a performance from a star would warp our children.
If anything, it is ours to educate our children, not draw curtains over their eyes from what the world could be.

I'm so ashamed of Singaporeans being so pretentious to be righteous & virtue. Homophobia are like racists, should be stop and taught how to love and accept and accept harmony.

Mr. Lambert has performed several times already in Singapore. If I understand correctly, a right wing group from the USA (my country) is behind this hate mongering. This prejudice should not be tolerated. Modern society should be inclusive for all people/humanity. Don't let hate and bigotry win. Mr. Lambert is one of the best vocalists of our time and open-minded people appreciate his talent. Thank you.
